The Leanin' dog is a really good book. It tells how a girl named Dessa Dean heals from losing a loved one through a special furry friend. As she gets to know her friend a challenge walks through her door and Dessa Dean must face her own fear or risk her friend's life.
This book is a good non Kissy-kissy story. It has nothing that seemed bad like Language (the only that i was concerned about was she thought "lordy" which would be taking the Lord of thy God in vain so it would be the same as saying "oh my God") . Dessa Dean is actually Christian.
The author made an amazing book about healing and going through changes. I recommend this book for sure.
